Beyond the Strong Black Woman: Laying Down the Mask

A virtual Safe Space workshop for Black Women ready to reflect, exhale, and reconnect with who they are beyond the roles they carry.

Being “the strong one” gets heavy.

The fixer.
The caregiver.
The leader.
The dependable one.
The woman who is always “fine.”

But what happens when strength starts costing you your rest, joy, boundaries, and ability to ask for support?

This workshop is a space to pause, reflect, and ask:

What mask am I ready to lay down?

This workshop is for you if:

  • You are tired of always being “the strong one”

  • You feel dependable, but not always supported

  • You carry emotional labor at work, at home, or in relationships

  • You feel guilty when resting, saying no, or asking for help

  • You want to reconnect with who you are beyond responsibility

You do not have to show up polished.

You do not have to have the perfect words.
Come as you are.
